Sloan's Jay Ferguson on Shortstack Records

In anticipation of Record Store Day 2024, Brooklyn Vegan talked to Jay Ferguson (Sloan) about record collecting and his previous career working at a record store. When asked about his favourite shops, Jay mentioned a couple in Toronto, including ours:

Shortstack Records always seems to uncover unusual rarities at fair prices but unfortunately is closing due to their landlord selling or leasing their building and the shop’s difficulty finding reasonably priced alternatives in downtown Toronto. It sadly seems to be not an uncommon story across various businesses in this city and beyond.
