Mental Health Week 2021
May 3 - 9 is Mental Health Week, hosted in Canada by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). In the U.S., May is also Mental Health Awareness Month.
Mental health is always important, but especially this year, when social isolation has been necessary. The Hi, How Are You Project, based in Austin, encourages people to start conversations with each other about mental health by simply asking, “Hi, how are you?” They write, “With genuine concern and no judgement, you can easily support people and even save lives.”
